ABOUT BATES LAW OFFICE KENTUCKY
Established in 2013, Bates Law Office Kentucky is proud to offer experience that not many of our peers share. As a former public defender in Kentucky, attorney Eric Bates prepared hundreds of criminal cases for trial and navigated complex issues at all stages of litigation. Our familiarity with the criminal justice system and the regional district and circuit courts is a distinct advantage to our criminal defense clients. We have experience with a broad range of criminal charges, particularly drug crimes. We will also skillfully evaluate the litigation hazards of your case. We can then help you to make the best decision for your situation – whether that decision is to negotiate the best plea agreement possible or prepare the case for trial.
Our family law and personal injury practice areas benefit from our background in both litigation and mediation. If there is an opportunity to efficiently resolve your issue, we know how to offer collaborative approaches. We understand how to work through negotiations. Even reducing one or more issues to a partial settlement agreement may dramatically save the clients time and money.
